Create and Use Wi-Fi QR Codes with GoZone

This video demonstrates how to create a Wi-Fi QR code for your business using the GoZone dashboard. It explains how to generate, download, and use the QR code to simplify guest access to your free Wi-Fi.

Introduction To Wi-Fi QR Codes

A Wi-Fi QR code is a great way to let your customers know that you offer free Wi-Fi and make it easier for them to connect. Once you create it, you can print it and place it in different areas around your business. For example, if you own a restaurant, you can place it next to your menu QR code on tables, at the front desk, or even display it on screens throughout your business. Let's get started. First, go to your GoZone dashboard at dashboard.gozonewifi.com.

Accessing Hotspot Settings

Once you're in your dashboard, click on Network and then select Hotspots. Find a hotspot where you want to add the Wi-Fi QR code and click Edit.

Locating QR Code Section

Now scroll down until you find the Wi-Fi QR Code section. Click Generate.

Entering Wi-Fi Network Name

You'll see a few fields that need to be completed. In the SSID field, enter the name of your Wi-Fi network exactly as it appears in your settings.

SSID Case Sensitivity Importance

This is very important. The SSID is case sensitive and you also need to make sure that all spaces are exactly the same. If there's even a small difference, the QR code will not work correctly. For encryption, select None. Once everything is entered correctly, click Submit.

Wi-Fi QR Code Generation Confirmation

And that's it! Your Wi-Fi QR code has now been generated.

Downloading And Printing QR Code

You can download the QR code and print it or use it digitally on screens around your business.

Benefits Of Wi-Fi QR Codes

This makes it much easier for your guests to discover and connect to your free Wi-Fi while also giving you more opportunities to increase guest connections. And that's how you create a Wi-Fi QR code with GoZone.
