The Smart WiFi Platform’s integration for GoTab allows you to grow your Smart WiFi Contacts in real time as customers create Tabs in GoTab. Complete the following steps to complete the connection between your Smart WiFi Contact Manager and GoTab account. Every contact generated through a integration rule will have a GoTab tag automatically added.

GoTab Configuration

  • Please contact your GoTab Customer Support Representative to collect your Merchant ID

Smart WiFi Configuration

  1. Login to your Smart WiFi dashboard
  2. Use the navigation panel to the left to click Integrations > Loyalty Apps
  3. Click the GoTab tile
  4. Enable: Set the rule to ON
  5. App Access Id: Enter your GoTab App Access Id
  6. App Secret: Enter your GoTab App Secret
  7. App Location ID(s): Enter the Location ID (number) for the GoTab location want this rule to pull data from.
  8. Contact Tag(s): This allows you to apply a tag(s) to all Contacts created through the integration rule.
  9. Press Submit

The GoTab Loyalty integration rule will sync data in near real time as customers create Tabs and Opt In to Marketing messages through GoTab following these conditions.
  • When the rule is created a sync of any previously available Guest data from GoTab will be used to create Contacts with a Status of Subscribed and a Tag of "NoOptIn"
  • When a contact is created from a Guest creating an Order in GoTab with identifiable information (Mobile Number/Email) it will have a Status of Subscribed and a tag of "NoOptIn"
    • If a Guest uses the "Subscribe" section in GoTab after placing an order their Contact will be updated to change the "NoOptIn" Tag to "OptedIn"
  • When a contact is created from a Guest entering their identifiable information (Mobile Number/Email) into the "Subscribe" section in GoTab it will have a Status of Subscribed and a tag of "OptedIn"
  • If a Guest uses the Account Management option inside GoTab to unsubscribe, their contact Status will be set to Unsubscribed and Tag set to "NoOptIn"
The integration syncs the following Contact Profile details if they are available.
  • Name
  • Mobile Number
  • Email
