The following instructions outline how to setup a Huawei CloudCampus network for the Smart WiFi Platform. This guide covers configuring RADIUS profiles and guest access settings. This guide assumes that your Huawei equipment is already operational and with a live network ready to configure for Guest WiFi. Please make sure any firewall rules, web content filters, and other security measures have been configured to interface with the platform.
Smart WiFi Dashboard Setup

- Using the navigation panel to the left, select Network> Gateways
- Click the Add Gateway option to the top right
- Select Hotspot: Select your desired hotspot
- Gateway Name: Enter a name for this Gateway(s)
- Gateway Type: Huawei iMaster NCE
- MAC Address: Enter the MAC Address of your AP. (use the blue + icon to the right to add multiple AP MACs at once)
- Press Submit
- This completes the Gateway creation portion of this guide
Huawei CloudCampus portal configuration
- Login to your Huawei CloudCampus web interface.
- At the top click on Design > Template Management
- On the left, click ACL and then Create. Configure with-
- Name: SmartWiFi
- ACL Type: User
- ACL Number: 6000
- Click Add under Rule List and using the settings in the example below add the entries found in this list.
- Rule type: domain
- ip/Domain: *.smartwifiplatform.com
- Click OK to Save
- On the left, click URL Template and then Create. Configure with-
- Name: SmartWiFi
- Template type: Cloud platform-based relay authentication
- Under Parameters in template click Create and configure with-
- Parameter: loginurl
- Value Assignment Mode: Replace the existing value
- Parameter Name: originaUrl
- Parameter: ssid
- Value Assignment Mode: Replace the eixsting value
- Parameter Name: ssid
- Parameter: user-mac
- Value Assignment Mode: Replace the eixsting value
- Parameter Name: umac
- Parameter: user-ip
- Value Assignment Mode: Replace the eixsting value
- Parameter Name: uaddress
- Parameter: device-mac
- Value Assignment Mode: Replace the eixsting value
- Parameter Name: ap-mac
- Parameter: loginurl
- Click OK to save.
- On the left, Click RADIUS Relay Server and then Create. Configure with-
- Name: SmartWiFi
- Authentication service: Portal Authentication
- Authentication protocol: PAP
- Under Authentication server address click Add and configure with-
- Priority: 1
- Host: You will be provided this
- Port: 1812
- Key: You will be provided this
- Add another Authentication server
- Priority: 2
- Host: You will be provided this
- Port: 1812
- Key: You will be provided this
- Under Accounting server address click Add and configure with-
- Priority: 1
- Host: You will be provided this
- Port: 1813
- Key: You will be provided this
- Add another Accounting server
- Priority: 2
- Host: You will be provided this

- Click Submit to save. Set the following:
- Timeout period: 5
- Load balancing mode: Strict accordance with priority
- Click OK to save
- At the top, click Provision > Site Configuration
- On the left, click AP > SSID. Then click Create and configure with-
- SSID Name: Smart WiFi (Or whatever you wish)
- Working status: On
- Effective radio: 2.4 and 5g
- Network Connection mode: Layer 2 or NAT
- Click Next
- WLAN security policy: Open network
- Push pages: On
- Portal pushing mode: Relay authentication by cloud platform
- Interconnection mode: RADIUS relay
- Page push protocol: HTTP
- Username: username
- Password parameter name: password
- Redirect URL matching rule: Redirect URL parameter
- Parameter name for the authentication success redirect URL: redirect_URL
- RADIUS relay server: SmartWiFi
- Portal authentication free: Disabled
- Real-time accounting: Enabled
- Billing reporting cycle: 5
- Default permit rule: SmartWiFi
- Bypass policy: User access is allowed without authentication.
- Click Next and then OK to save
- At the top click Admission > Page Management.
- Click the Portal Page Push Policy at the top, then click Create and configure with-

- Name: SmartWiFi
- Access Mode: Wireless
- Match SSIDs: Yes, and click Add. Choose the SSID you created earlier
- Page Push authentication mode: Cloud platform-based relay authentication
- Interconnection mode: Relay
- URL template: select SmartWiFi
- Third-party authentication URL: You will be provided this
- Page Push authentication mode: Cloud platform-based relay authentication
- Click OK to Save.
