The following instructions outline how to setup a Zyxel Nebula Cloud SSID for the Smart WiFi Platform.  This guide assumes that your Zyxel Nebula Cloud equipment is already operational with a live network ready to configure for Guest WiFi. Please make sure any firewall rules, web content filters, and other security measures have been configured to interface with the platform. Zyxel Nebula Cloud Configuration

  1. Login to your Nebula Control Center
  2. Select your desired Location and Site
  3. Use the navigation panel to the left to select Configure > Access Points > SSID Settings
  4. Press the Edit SSID Settings link for the SSID you want to configure to the Smart WiFi platform
    • Network Access
      • Security Options: Open
      • Sign-in method: Sign-on with- My RADIUS Server
      • RADIUS Server:
        • Host 1: This will be provided to you
        • Host 2: This will be provided to you
        • Port: 1812
        • Secret: This will be provided to you
      • NAS Identifier: This will be provided to you
      • RADIUS accounting: RADIUS accounting enabled
      • RADIUS accounting servers:
        • Host 1: This will be provided to you
        • Host 2: This will be provided to you
        • Port: 1813
        • Secret: This will be provided to you
    • Captive Portal advanced setting
      • Walled garden: ON
      • Walled garden ranges: Add an entry for each of the wildcard walled garden entries found in the default walled garden list and any additional entries provided by support.
      • Simultaneous login limit: Unlimited
      • Strict Policy: Block all access until  sign-on
    • Set all other values to best practices
  5. Press the Edit Captive portal customization link for the SSID you want to configure to the Smart WiFi platform
    • External captive portal URL
      1. Use URL: ON
      2. URL: This will be provided to you
    • Captive portal behavior
      1. After the captive portal page where the user should go?: To promotional URL
      2. Promotional URL: This will be provided to you
  6. This completes the Zyxel Nebula Cloud configuration
